Dancing for Hope!

Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a non-profit movement that raises funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals across North America. Each year, more than 800 students stay awake and on their feet in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. It is the only children’s charity committed to having 100% of the funds raised stay in local communities to support local kids. Since inception, Miracle Network Dance Marathon has raised more than $250 million for children across North America - ensuring that no child or family fights pediatric illness or injury alone.

Over the past 29 years, Dance Marathon at University of Florida has raised over $24 million that is directly donated to UF Health's Children's Miracle Network. This philanthropy has always held a special place in the hearts of Delta Gammas in our chapter, and our sisters work year-around fundraising and attending events in support of DM. Several of our members also hold leadership positions within Dance Marathon as Captains and Emerging Leaders. This past year, our members helped to raise funds and dance their way to making miracles for the kids and winning the coveted Miracle Cup for the tenth straight year. The Miracle Cup is awarded to the organization that raises the most money and displays the most spirit leading up to the event. Delta Gamma has worked hard to earn this honor in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
