My name is Olivia Charland and I am beyond grateful to have been selected as Delta Gamma’s Vice President of Membership this year. Our chapter has eagerly put in time, energy, and dedication all year to ensure that Fall Recruitment 2020 is an unforgettable experience for both our members andthe potential new members!
On behalf of our chapter, I am very excited to be giving young women the opportunity to find their home. Every day, Delta Gamma provides me the ability to grow and aspire to become who I strive to be through leadership, philanthropy, and scholarship opportunities. The love and support I have received through Delta Gamma have inspired me to share my experiences by helping young women find what anchors them.
As we prepare for Fall Recruitment, we would like to offer a closer look into all that Delta Gamma has to offer. Potential new members will gain insight into our unique and diverse support system through meeting sisters who will be a champion for them and a friend always. We strive to recruit women who are accepting of others and can be a strong member of a team, displaying high ideals, poise, and integrity. Our family is comprised of women that embody our “Do Good” motto and treat others with kindness, dignity, and the utmost respect.
We are honored to welcome you into our home; and equally honored to be a part of your journey throughout your college career. Please feel free to contact me with any membership inquiries at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Why Delta Gamma?
Representing a wide range of backgrounds and personalities, every member of Delta Gamma is unique. Yet we all share a single bond of sisterhood forged through friendship and a shared vision of support and community. Our sisters challenge us to grow and transform into the best version of ourselves, while also reminding us to embrace the person that initially brought us home to Delta Gamma.
Joining Delta Gamma
Being a Delta Gamma is more than joining a chapter of our Fraternity. It is the first step in developing a life-long sisterhood and bonds with women who want to make the world a better place. During recruitment, we seek women who will bring the qualities that our members themselves hold near and dear, such as:
• A lifelong commitment to Delta Gamma
• The desire to partake in service to help others
• Achieving full academic potential
• Participation and/or eagerness to undertake leadership positions
• Join activities, athletics, and share talents within DG and UF community
• Strong moral character
Who is a Delta Gamma Legacy?
The term "legacy" is used to describe a potential new member who is a sister, daughter, granddaughter, or great-granddaughter of a member of Delta Gamma. The Fraternity also recognizes a stepsister, stepdaughter, step-granddaughter, or step-great-granddaughter as a legacy. While we understand that sisters, mothers, grandmothers and close relatives will continue to share their cherished Delta Gamma memories with those preparing for sorority recruitment, the opportunity to become a member is the same for all potential new members based on individual qualifications. Once a bid is offered, a new member’s DG relative can embrace their legacy but until they become a Delta Gamma by the chapter’s choice, they are equal to all other potential new members.
Delta Gammas who have relatives that are legacies and potential new members are encouraged to complete and send a Delta Gamma Sponsor Form for their potential new member to the DG chapter at the school they’ll be attending.
