Dance Marathon
Miracle Cup
Winner 2023
Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropy in the southeastern United States benefiting Children’s Miracle Network and UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. It is a yearlong effort involving UF, the local community and culminates each spring when students remain on their feet for 26.2 hours for those who can’t.

DM holds a special place in our hearts, and DG is proud to be a leader in both fundraising and in the spirit of the amazing organization. Our sisters work year-round raising money and attending events in support of Dance Marathon. The Miracle Cup is awarded to the organization that has achieved the highest fundraising and also earned the most Spirit Points leading up to the final event. We are thrilled to have been awarded this coveted award for the 10th straight year in 2023.
Phi Delt Fever
Phi Delt Fever sponsored by Phi Delta Theta, raises money in support of the Live Like Lou Foundation, an organization committed to making an impact on ALS research and supporting the children of families affected by ALS.

Pike Halftime is Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity’s annual dance contest raising money and awareness in support of Florida Diabetes Camp and the Riqui Villegas Chomp Cancer Foundation.

In support of it's philanthropy, The Elimination of Prejudice Foundation,
Pi Lam holds its annual Royal Fam event.The foundation empowers
courageous campus leaders who want to create long lasting community change. Participants raise money and compete for title of Royal Fam.

UF Panhellenic Council Chapter of Excellence
The Florida Greek Standards (FGS) Accreditation Program assesses all Greek organizations based on the community’s tenets of scholarship, leadership, service and community. This program is designed to identify and encourage high ideals, principles, and standards critical to the success of each organization and its members. Each chapter will receive an official designation directly reflecting that particular chapter’s achievement for the previous academic year. The Delta Gamma chapter at UF is proud to have earned the highest number of points for the 2018-2019 academic year earning the designation of Chapter of Excellence.

UF Greek Awards
We are so proud of this recognition. Our chapter works in conjunction with the Division of Blind Services and the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind to host a Spring Carnival for visually impaired children in the greater Gainesville area each year. From beeping Easter eggs, live bunnies and puppies, to face-painting, inflatable bounce houses and a cookie decorating station —DGs love being able to give back and brighten the day of over 100 families each year!
